One person was killed when he crossed the center line and was struck by an oncoming vehicle as he tried to move back into the right lane. The vehicle was so badly damaged it had to be removed from the scene to a local fire station before extrication could be accomplished. The driver of the other vehicle received only minor injuries. Assisting the Ledbetter Fire Department was Smithland Fire, Grand Lakes Fire, Livingston EMS and the Livingston County Coroner's Office. Kentucky State Police and the Livingston County Sheriff's Office also responded.
